Biography
Haykaz Zh. Hovhannisyan is Doctor of History, Professor | Chair of the History of Armenia Education 1985 – 1988: A three-year post graduate course, specialized – Russia History, Yerevan State Pedagogical University 1975 – 1979: History Faculty, Yerevan State Pedagogical University (first-class diploma) 1965 – 1975: Secondary school (gold medal) Academic degree 1989: defended a dissertation in history and received his PhD in history. (Institute of History NAS RA) «The Cultural Revolution in Armenia in 1920 - 1940». 1999: defending doctoral thesis, received the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences. (Institute of History NAS RA) «Armenology in Russia in XIX century». 2006: received title Professor of history of YSU.
