Biography
Siegi leads the development and implementation of strategic and innovative projects across clinical and service improvement at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Siegi has over 15 years of experience working in health policy, health service strategy and health consulting. Prior to joining the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Siegi was the Senior Health Adviser to the Victorian Minister for Health where she was responsible for overseeing the acute hospital health and capital budgets, identifying and managing risks for the government and developing key policy positions. As a business development manager in an international health consulting firm, Siegi was responsible for building their business in Australia and supporting business development activities in the United Kingdom, Middle East, Singapore and Hong Kong. Siegi has developed strong credentials in strategic positioning, policy development, complex project delivery and stakeholder management. Siegi has a Master of Science (Public Health), a Bachelor of Nursing, and Graduate Diploma of Project Management. Siegi has strong foundations in health policy and governance having started her career in the Commonwealth Government including the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
