Biography
Esther is currently in her 3rd year of her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She has been working with children and adults in the disability sector for over 5 years. Esther’s experience within the disability sector encouraged her to return to University and study Occupational Therapy. She loves the holistic approach that Occupational Therapists use to assist people to develop independence in daily tasks. Esther finished her clinical placement in 2015 at The Rainbow Clinic and is happy to become part of the team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Esther has a passion for working with children and families and is enthusiastic to work in this practice area. Esther is a mother, and as such understands the stressors that families face in their busy lives. This understanding enables her to focus on supporting and involving caregivers in the therapy process, without adding extra stress. Esther hopes to continue to improve her skills in Occupational Therapy practice to provide support for young people and families.
