Biography
Nicholas Ezati Associate Director Laboratory (TB), Nicholas Ezati coordinates activities in the BSL 3 National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory in Zaria. He supervises technical and non-technical staff in the laboratory, conducts trainings on advanced TB diagnostics, TB molecular HAINS (assay), GENE Xpert, TB culture and other relevant areas. He has also made significant contributions in the MDR-TB survey, TB prevalence survey and Bovine TB study. Nicholas is involved in the mentoring of staff and set up of Zonal TB reference laboratories within the country. His expertise has been useful in the development of national documents, guidelines and plans.
