Mr.quamrul Hassan

Biography

Mr. Quamrul Hassan, aged 50, is the Director Marketing & Sales. He started with Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as Director Marketing & Sales January 14th, 2013. His responsibilities include Marketing and Sales of Pharma, Ophtha, Infusions and Agrvet business units.  Mr. Quamrul Hassan is vastly experienced in Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing and brings with him over nineteen years of relevant experience with leading pharmaceutical industry like SQUARE, ORION, OPSONIN and SK+F.  Mr. Hassan has strong academic background. He obtained his B. Pham. (Hon’s.) & M. Pharm. from Dhaka University. He has also obtained his MBA in Marketing from IBA.  Mr. Hassan has earned high reputation all through his long successful career and has been quite capable in building a strong self image by virtue of his pleasant personality, administrative acumen and dynamic leadership.  Mr. Hassan started his career with Square Pharmaceuticals as a Product Executive. He served there for more than eight years holding different positions including “Head of Product Management” and “Head of Technical Services”.  He also served Orion Laboratories Ltd. for around four years as “Senior Vice President, Marketing” and subsequently as “Director, Marketing”. Later Mr. Hassan has served Opsonin Pharma Ltd in the capacity of General Manager, Sales & Marketing for around one and half year. After that he joined SK+F as “Head of Business Operations” and served by shouldering overall responsibility of its domestic Sales and Marketing.
