Biography
Dr. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed did his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College in 1982; after that he attained Post Graduation having MS in ENT in 2006 from Dhaka University. He has demonstrated expertise in managing all types of Ear, Nose & Throat problems. He is skilled and experienced in varied types of ENT & Head Neck Surgeries by endoscopic method and by using laser techniques. To name a few, these are removal of vocal cord polyp, papilloma and debulking of different forms of cancer; Pharyngeal surgery and voice restoration surgery, Endoscopic sinus & Skull Base Surgery, Nasal Septal Surgery and Endoscopic DCR (Lacrimal Passage), Neck Surgery including thyroid surgery, Oral Cavity and Tongue surgery, Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy, Microsurgery of Ear and Hearing Restoration surgery. In his long career of over three decades in government job, he served in Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital, Mitford, Dhaka Medical College & Hospital, BSMMU, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital, Dhaka, Khulna Medical College Hospital among others. Since inception, he was serving in National Institute of ENT, Tejgaon, Dhaka and before joining United Hospital, he was serving there as Professor of ENT.
