Biography
Newton Brandão is management center director. Brandão holds a degree in Accounting from PUC-MG and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from UMEC University of Belo Horizonte. He obtained an MBA in Finance from Fundação Dom Cabral in 2000. Brandão served as financial administrative manager at Visoconsult Engenharia before joining the Andrade Gutierrez Group in 1998. He currently presides over the CCR Fiscal Board. He is a member of the Sanepar and Dominó Holdings Fiscal Board, alternate member of the Cemig administration boards, and alternate member of the Telemar Participações and Oi fiscal boards. His main activities involve sitting in committees and boards of AG subsidiaries, and participating in studies for new investments and representing AG in professional associations like Abrasa, Ibracon, Bovespa and CVM. As to his main achievements, Newton points to: his participation (through CCR) in the Salvador Subway, BR-163 highway and Confins Airport operations in 2013; the sale of Quiport and Aeris in 2012; the acquisition of Cemig in 2010 and the sale of Light that same year.
