Biography
Graduated in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, he holds an MBA from Insead / França. With a solid career in the chemical segment, his work experience in France, China, the United States and Brazil is highlighted by the Rhodia / Rhône-Poulenc Group, where he became General Manager of Rhodia's Performance Chemistry Division for Brazil and Latin America and the Vice Presidency of Rhodia USA, with a presence on the Group's Operational Committee. In 2002, he joined Braskem, assuming the Vice-Presidency of the Polyolefins Business Unit, with leadership responsibilities in the areas of production, innovation, technology, marketing and commercialization. In 2008, he took over the Business of Basic Petrochemicals and in 2009, as Executive Vice President, he was appointed responsible for the Polymer Unit. From 2010, he took over the business leadership of Quattor. In March 2011 he was appointed CEO of Braskem America and Vice President of the International Business Unit. Since January 2012 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Odebrecht Agroindustrial. At CTC, he has been a member of the Board of Directors since July 2013.
