He is Graduation at Agronomy from Federal University of Lavras (1993), master's degree at Agronomy from Federal University of Viçosa (1997) and doctorate at Agronomy from Federal University of Viçosa (2001). Has experience in Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, focusing on Forest Entomology, acting on the following subjects: biological control, eucalyptus, natural enemy, trichogramma and control.
