Biography
Graduated from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Santa Casa de São Paulo in 1999. He attended a medical practice at the Brotherhood of Santa Casa de Misericórdia in São Paulo from February 2000 to January 2002 and specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolism in the same from February 2002 to January 2004. He obtained a Doctorate in Health Sciences from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Santa Casa de São Paulo, after being approved in public defense of thesis in 2008. He works as Adjunct Professor, developing activities students with undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the same institution. Since March 2017, he has been Vice-Director of the Medical Course, Undergraduate Coordinator and Member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus, with a 3-year term of office, 2017/2020. He is an assistant physician in the Medical Clinic Department of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Fellowship of São Paulo with activities of teaching and practical guidance of resident physicians and specialists in the Endocrinology and Metabolism Service. She holds a degree in Endocrinology from the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabology and the Brazilian Medical Association since 2003. She started a research line on autoimmune diseases with a focus on autoimmune thyroid disease involving the immune response and lymphocyte subtypes through flow cytometry. She coordinates the Santa Casa de São Paulo outpatient clinic with academic performance and research involving thyroid cancer in adults and the pediatric age group.
