Marcelo Vaz Perez

Biography

Graduated in Medicine by the Federal University of Uberlândia in 1995. Residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Treatment, University of São Paulo. It is worth mentioning the Certification of Acting in the Pain Area by the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and PhD in the area of ​​Medicine, Surgical Clinic by the University of São Paulo. Postgraduate Degree in Palliative Care from the Pallium Lationamerica Institute with support from the Argentine Association of Medicine and Palliative Care; certified by the Graduate School of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad del Salvador, Argentina, and the Oxford International Center for Palliative Care, England. He is currently responsible for the Discipline of Chronic and Acute Pain Treatment of Santa Casa de São Paulo, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the same Institution, Assistant Physician, Federal University of São Paulo. In both Institutions it acts in teaching, research and assistance activities. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Latin American Society of Regional Anesthesia (LASRA), event director of the SAESP Society of Anesthesiology of São Paulo 2015-2016 and Advisor of the Research Program in Surgery of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences of the Santa Casa de São Paulo.
