Biography

Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (FCMSC-SP) in 1983. He holds a Masters degree in 1997 and a PhD in Medicine 2003, both from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. Specialist degree conferred by the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology (SBPC). She was a physician at the Laboratory of the Hospital Infection Control Service of the Santa Casa de São Paulo. She is currently Adjunct Professor of the Microbiology Department of the Department of Pathological Sciences of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo and Medical Coordinator of the Microbiology Sector of the Clinical Laboratory of the Brazilian Jewish Beneficent Society Albert Einstein Hospital (SBIBHAE). She is the Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Clinical Pathology of the SBIBHAE Institute of Education and Research and the Microbiology modality. Member of BrCAST (Brazilian Committee of Sensitivity Tests) representing the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology. Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology. He has worked in the area of ​​Medicine, with emphasis in Clinical Microbiology working on the following topics: vancomycin-resistant enterococci, urinary tract infection, vascular catheter-related infection, infection in an intensive care unit, detection of multi-resistant microorganisms and other laboratory diagnostic topics related to clinical microbiology. Coordinator of the Scientific Committee of the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology. He has worked in the area of ​​Medicine, with emphasis in Clinical Microbiology working on the following topics: vancomycin-resistant enterococci, urinary tract infection, vascular catheter-related infection, infection in an intensive care unit, detection of multi-resistant microorganisms and other laboratory diagnostic topics related to clinical microbiology.
