Biography
He holds a medical degree from the Federal Medical Sciences Foundation of Porto Alegre (1970). CAPES Scholar at the Department of Internal Medicine (Prof. Clementino Fraga Filho) at UFRJ (1971-1972). Specialist in Allergy and Immunology, ASBAI (1972). PhD in Medicine: Medical Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1992). He received a scholarship from CNPq at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1972-1973 and at the University of Oxford in 1989-1991. He is currently Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, and Medician of the Immunology Service of the Hospital de Clínicas of Porto Alegre. Participates with Professor of the Graduate Course in Surgery at UFRGS. He coordinates two distance courses in Forensic Genetics and in Basic and Advanced Immunology.
Research Interest
Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Clinical Immunology, Transplant Immunology and Forensic Genetics. Member. President of the South Riograndense Academy of Medicine
