Biography

Dr. Tracey Beaulne, N.D. R. Ac., is an experienced clinician who has built her practice on the foundation that the gastrointestinal tract and its ecosystem is our portal to optimal physical and mental health. Through her own personal tummy troubles, and by observing many patients throughout her 14 year practice, she knows first-hand that how we assimilate the food we eat affects, not only how our bodies function physically, but also our mood, thoughts and mental abilities. Her interest in gut health prompted years of research into the most appropriate protocols for a variety of gastrointestinal related issues. This exploration has put her at the forefront of the emerging gut-brain-microbiota research and, has made these types of conditions a primary focus at her Leaside Tummy Clinic. Through dietary and lifestyle interventions - including fermented foods and supplements - Dr. Tracey empowers her patients to feed their microbiomes. Her rich experience in healthcare throughout her career has given her a unique viewpoint of healthcare’s macro-perspective. It is this big-picture insight and experience that has shaped the development of her method for treating the internal ecosystem of the body; one that focuses on the root cause of what really ails one.
