Biography
Natalie Meisner’s areas of teaching and research include creative writing, drama, theories of comedy, and glbtiq literatures. Meisner is also an award-winning writer whose plays ( Life & A Lover, Pink Sugar, Burning In, The Beaver Sonatas, Everybody's Grandmother, etc.) have been produced at theatres across the country, anthologzized, and collected in book form (Growing Up Salty & Other Plays.) Her book of creative non-fiction, Double Pregnant: Two Lesbians Make a Family (Fernwood, 2014) is a lighthearted look at donor created families. Her new play "Speed Dating For Sperm Donors" has its world premiere in February at Lunchbox Theatre in Calgary.
