Biography
Dr. Haque received his Masters and PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State University, USA. He joined UNBC in 1995 and is presently Full Professor, cross-appointed in the Computer Science Program and the School of Business. His teaching commitments also extend into the MBA Program. His academic background includes a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Research Interest
His research interests include real-time database systems, Business Intelligence, e-commerce, parallel and distributed computing, high performance computing, software testing, and VLDBs (Very Large Database Systems). He also leads the Business Intelligence Research Group at UNBC. Dr Haque has been actively involved in industrial collaborative research that has led to commercialization of software. His work was also nominated, and won, the Industrial Collaborative Research Award.
