Sarah Baun

Biography

Sarah was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and moved to a farm north of Pilot Butte in 2008 where she still resides. She started with Warman Veterinary Services at the Emerald Park office in July 2013. Sarah is a versatile team member and handles all aspects of day to day operations at the Emerald Park office. Sarah has a passion for livestock production, especially breeding and showing purebred Arabian horses. She also enjoys other disciplines of riding and horsemanship such as working cows, training colts, trail riding and ranch work. Sarah credits her love of animals and country living to the time spent as a child visiting her grandparent’s farm at Mclean, Saskatchewan. She previously managed a flock of 225 ewes, and has worked in a feedlot and at several dairies. Most recently, she has been growing her small horse breeding program, with a focus on the function and quality of the Arabian horse. Sarah is proud to have bred, raised, and shown her 2011 filly to a Regional Championship title in 2012 as a yearling. She is working towards obtaining an equine studies diploma from the University of Guelph, and is very excited about furthering her show career and breeding business.
