Thomas L. Werner

Biography

Mr. Thomas L. Werner, MBA serves as the President of Florida Hospital Medical Group, Inc. Mr. Werner serves as Member of Executive Board at Adventist Health System, Inc. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Hospital and the Florida Hospital Division from 1984 to 1999. He served as Executive Vice President of Adventist Health System. He also served as President of Walla Walla Hospital in Walla Walla, Washington and Administrator of Tillamook General Hospital in Tillamook, Oregon. Mr. Werner serves as Chairman of the Board of Florida Hospital and Huguley Memorial Medical Center. He served as Chairman of the Board of Florida Hospital Association. He serves as a Director of Florida Hospital Waterman, Centura Health, Southern Adventist University, Oakwood College, Southwestern Adventist University and Tennessee Christian Medical Center. He is also an active member of several local healthcare and not-for-profit organizations throughout Central Florida. He serves as Director of Adventist Health System, Inc. Mr. Werner serves as a Trustee of Loma Linda University Medical Center, Inc. He served as a Trustee of Adventist Healthcare, Inc. until August 7, 2015. He received a master's degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska, advanced studies in health from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Union College
