Pr. Phillipe Manivet

Biography

 Phillipe Manivet is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at INSERM and a consultant in clinical biology in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris. He is also the co-director of the Saint Louis-Lariboisière-Fernand Widal Hospital group biobank and the director of the biobank’s analytical and functional metabolomics platform. He is involved in many national and international clinical research programs and clinical and fundamental research networks. He is currently a member of the ECVAM (European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods) expert pool for in silico and in vitro alternative methods for predicting the toxicity of xenobiotics and at INERIS (National Institute of the Industrial Environment and Risks – French Ministry of Ecology). Phillipe Manivet joined Advanced BioDesign’s Scientific Committee in April 2014. He will provide his experience and advice to the team at Advanced BioDesign in the fields of clinical biology, drug design, cell biology, biochemistry and pharmacology in their strategy of development of the company.
