Biography
October 2013 - June 2016 Post-doctoral candidate on the Open Research Area ( ORA ) project, "How SAFE" (co- managed by Olivier Borraz) . This project involves the dissemination of risk management instruments in different public policy areas, in a comparative study covering four European countries (France, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands). Mara Wesseling will work on the French and Dutch parts of the project. March 2013 Thesis defense (political science): "Governing the European fight against terrorism financing", University of Amsterdam Thesis director: Marieke de Goede . January 2007 - February 2008 European Institute of Public Administration, Maastricht (Netherlands) Research assistant in the field of EU policies on Justice and Home Affairs.
