Renaud Crespin's works are based on a theoretical framework that articulates three perspectives of analysis: the sociology of public action, the sociology of science and technology, and the sociology of labor.
Research Interest
This research questioning the processes of rationalization of public action in the fields of health and the environment mainly concern the comparison of the processes of instrumentation of prevention policies (screening, selection of blood donors) in different areas (blood donation, fight against HIV / AIDS, road safety, drug control, work) and on the role of technical and scientific expertise in the construction of public health problems, in particular environmental problems (air pollution inside)
