Isabelle Aknin

Biography

 After studying medicine in Creteil, Isabelle Aknin studied in Nantes with a double specialty: aesthetic surgery and angiography. She then went on a tour of France's ophthalmology department, specializing in retinal pathologies. Set up in an ophthalmology office in Golfe-Juan, she is set up at the Cannes Oxford Private Hospital. She has many university degrees: DU angiography, DU Nutrition, DU of palpebral repair surgery, DU of retinal pathologies. She is a member of the SFO, the American Society of Retina, the American Diabetes Association, the ARVO, the EVER, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Ocular Inflammation Society. While teaching at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dijon, she received the prize of the French Society of Retina in 2009. She is a founding member and president of the ARMD.
