Biography
He is a CNRS Research Scientist in the Social and Affective Neuroscience (SAN) team at the ICM (institute du Cerveau et de la Moelle Epiniere). He received a Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology from the University of Lyon, France in 1995, and a PhD in Cognitive Science at University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6). After a year as a postdoc at Harvard University, Cambridge, USA, under the supervision of Prof. Philip Holzman, he was recruited as a CNRS researcher in 2000 to work in the Emotion Center in the Psychiatry department of the La Salpêtrière Hospital. He got a qualification for research supervision (HDR) in 2010 (UPMC Paris 6 University). In 2014, he moved to the Brain and Spine Institute as one of the founding members of the Affective and Social Neuroscience team together with Nathalie George and Philippe Fossati.
