Biography
Mr. Jean-Louis Charon serves as Independent Director of Fonciere Atland SA since January 11, 2006. He holds several other mandates, including President of SOBK SAS, IPH SAS, Horus Gestion Capital SAS, City Star Capital SAS, City Star Property Investment SAS and Medavy Art et Antiquites, and Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Selectirente and Paref. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Engineering, 1976 and holds a Degree from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees. He began his career with the French Ministry for Industry, in charge of the foreign investment bureau, before serving as an executive manager with GE Medical System, and a managing director at GEC Thomson Airborne Radars. As Chief Executive Officer of the real estate arm of Vivendi Universal in 1995, he organized the LBO on Nexity, where he joined the Management Board and then the Supervisory Board. Following the creation of Nexstar Capital in partnership with LBO France, he set up City Star Capital.
