Franklyn G. Prendergast

Biography

 Franklyn G. Prendergast, is Professor Emeritus Edmond and Marion Guggenheim of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Honorary Professor of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapy, at Mayo Medical School, Rochester. Prendergast was Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Research Director at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester from 1989 to 1992. From 1989 to 1996, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mayo Clinic. From 1992 to 2009, Franklyn was a member of the Board of Directors of Mayo Clinique and Lilly. He is currently an Emeritus member of the Board of Directors and Board of Directors of the Mayo Clinic and Director Emeritus of the Mayo Clinic's Personalized Medicine Center. Dr. Prendergast has received many honors and awards.
