Biography
Dr. Heinz Bodenmueller is a specialist in the discovery of cancer biomarkers and their clinical validation. Its main discovery is CYFRA21-1, a serum biomarker for therapeutic surveillance and early detection of relapses in non-small cell lung cancer. Heinz brings to GENCLIS his experience in the discovery and industrial development of biomarkers and his expertise in biochemistry developed during his 20-year career in the field of diagnostics, notably at Boehringer Mannheim and Roche. Heinz has in-depth knowledge of biobank networks and their quality control systems. This allows Genclis to access diverse and valuable samples.
