Biography
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES He currently studies the role of the nucleus reuniens in spatial navigation and its interactions with hippocampus and prefrontal cortex. They use silicon probes to record simultaneously dozens of neurons and local field potentials in freely-moving animals. Together with the postdoc Andrea Slezia, He studies the neuronal activity of the supramammilary nucleus and its interactions with the hippocampus. They combined local field recordings and single cell recordings with silicon probes and juxtacellular electrodes in anesthetized animals. EDUCATION 2001-2006: Graduate student in Psychology at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain 2006-2008: Master in Neuroscience at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain March-June 2009: Research stay in the laboratory of Prof. Angela Roberts, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. 2007- 2013: PhD in Neuroscience, School of Medicine, University of Santiago de Compostela.
