Biography
Nicolas Gangneux is Technician Member in the Unit of Trypanosomatids Infectious Processes working in the department of Immunology. Technician since 2008 at the Institut Pasteur, he worked 5 years on the Chikungunya virus (CHIKV), which enabled me to acquire skills in cellular and molecular biology. During this period he was involved in various research projects such as the characterization of monoclonal antibodies or the implementation of tools such as the insertion of fluorescent tag in the viral genome. He also realized the preliminary work on a project for high-throughput siRNA screening of the human genome associated with CHIKV infection. This knowledge allows him to be involved in training courses either as a teacher (qPCR) or as an examiner (oral defense of the BTS Biotechnology tests).
