Biography
Carlo Purassanta, 45, has been running Microsoft Italy since January 2013, and has worked to position Italian companies and governments as a strong catalyst for innovation in the service of the country. Under its leadership, the Italian subsidiary has placed entrepreneurship and digital transformation at the heart of its growth momentum. In the past two years he has also been a stakeholder in the Italian digital ecosystem, with various responsibilities within the Confindustria Digitale (Italian Industrial Federation for the Promotion of the Development of the Digital Economy), American trade in Italy or the business school of the Politecnico di Milano. Francophile and francophone, Carlo Purassanta already knows Microsoft France, since he was, " France is a country that I know well and which I particularly like because it is a land of research, innovation, favoring entrepreneurship.
