Biography
Carole Piwnica is of Belgian nationality. She has a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Master in Law from New York University. She has been an independent director of Sanofi since 2010 and a member of the Audit Committee. Lawyer at the bars of New York and Paris, Carole Piwnica began her career at Proskauer Rose in New York in 1985, before joining the mergers & acquisitions department of Shearman & Sterling in Paris in 1987. Legal Director of Gardini et Associés between 1991 and 1994, she joined Amylum Group in 1994, where she was Chairman from 1996 to 2000.
