Biography
Diane Souza is an American citizen. She is a certified public accountant. Diane Souza is an independent director of Sanofi and a member of the Compensation Committee since 2016. She is the former Executive Director of UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits. With more than 25 years of experience in care management and foresight, she has led the transformation of large scale healthcare activities and systems at UnitedHealthcare and Aetna, as well as the integrated business strategy of Affordable Care Act. She has also served as Chief Financial Officer of Aetna's Guaranteed Products Inc. and as such has been a regular participant in complex financial transactions. Diane Souza also held several senior positions at Deloitte and PWC.
