Research Interest
Cell and Developmental Plant Biology-The role of the actin cytoskeleton in the morphogenesis and development of plant cells. Our research focuses on understanding how proteins within the cell direct and regulate plant cell growth and morphogenesis. We are particularly interested in the role of regulators of the filamentous actin cytoskeletal network and have pioneered the use of the moss Physcomitrella patens to show that regulators of actin dynamics are critical for proper cell growth.
