C. Douat

Biography

Mr. Christophe Douat serves as Chief Executive Officer at Medincell. Mr. Douat serves as an Investment Director of Matignon Investissement & Gestion, Matignon Technologies 1 FCPR, Matignon Technologies 2, FCPR and Matignon Investissements II FCPR. Mr. Douat joined Matignon Technologies in 2001 and focuses on medtech. Mr. Douat has also invested in high technology content software companies: SWT which was acquired by Captiva Software and Earth Decision Sciences, which merged with Paradigm. He has invested in a wide range of medtech companies, from computer assisted surgery, biodegradable stents, pulmonary stents, glucose monitoring, masks for sleep apnea, nanoparticles for cancer therapy, internet diet tools and in vitro diagnostics. After spending four years with Lafarge in Canada, Mr. Douat became a Managing Director at Sabourin Lake Lodge & Airways. He served as a Strategy Consultant in Paris specialized in Internet strategy and technology at The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. and was in charge of the BCG Web Lab. Mr. Douat began his career in the research centre of the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering of the University of Minnesota, where he wrote a thesis and also published a scientific paper. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board of Nanobiotix SA since 2011. He served as a Director of SWT SA. He served on the Board of Arterial Remodeling Technologies S.A. Mr. Douat has spent 12 years in North America. He holds an M.S. degree from University of Minnesota, an M.B.A. from University of Calgary, Canada and is a graduate of Ecole des Mines.
