Biography
Dr. Thierry Lavigne is Head of the "Operational Hygiene Team" of the University Hospital of Strasbourg (HUS). He is working as a Vice-chair of the committee of fight against nosocomial infections and also responsible for external reporting of nosocomial infections. He is also a Member of the Medical Committee of Establishment. He is a Head of Training for "University Diploma in Prevention of Nosocomial Infections (Dupin)" and for "Professional Degree in Infectious Risk Management Associated with Care (GRIAS)": training for healthcare workers and medical staff from hospital hygiene units. He undergone research work as a Member of the team "Physiopathology and remediation of host interactions - Staphylococcus aureus" of EA 4438 Physiopathology and translational medicine.
