Jean Jacques De Laey

Biography

Professor and Head of Department, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Ghent (1979-2006). Professor Emeritus, JJ DeLaey has published more than 270 articles especially on the medical retina. Co-editor with B.Puech and G. Holder of "Inhereited chorioretinal diseases, A textbook and Atlas" (Springer 2014). Co-founder of the European University Professors in Ophthalmology, secretary-general (1986-1992), president (1996-2000). Belgian Representative to the EBO (1992-2002), President of the EBO (1994-1996). Co-founder of EURETINA and member of the Board of Directors (2001-2009)
