Selma Walther

Biography

 Selma applies microeconomic tools to examine labour and family economics in developing countries. Her research focuses on how the labour and consumption behaviour of households in developing countries is affected by institutions. She has particular experience in working with large survey datasets and employing structural techniques for predictive modelling.   Selma holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is currently engaged in research in applied microeconomics at the University of Warwick. Prior to joining Warwick, she was a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Oxford.
