Biography
He was graduated in Economics from Rotterdam University and in Management Studies from the Institute for Social Studies in The Hague. Andries B. van Luijk, who is of Dutch nationality, began his career in 1969 working for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Until 1999, he held a number of different positions all over the world for the airline, including those of Executive Vice-President Passenger Sales and Services and Chairman of the KLM-NWA Joint Venture. Andries B. van Luijk joined the Board of Directors of Air Berlin PLC on 1 October 2013.
