Biography
Since April 2017 Dr. Aristotelis Nastos is Head of Life Science and Cleantech and responsible for the investment activities of NRW.BANK in this markets. At the same time he is the Managing Partner of the regional early stage Venture Capital Fonds Gründerfonds Ruhr. Previously he has been Partner at Creathor Venture one of the most renowned Venture Capital companies in Germany. He holds a number of board positions within the life science industry and has been instrumental in various important financings and M&A transactions such as the sale of Direvo to Bayer. He holds a PhD in Biology and as an International Fellow of The Wellcome Trust (UK) he has also worked as Post Doc at King’s College, London.
