Biography
1984: Joined the police. 1994-1997: Studied for higher police service at the FHVR Berlin (now Berlin School of Economics and Law – BSEL), graduating with a Diploma in Administrative Sciences. 1997-2001: Applied learning in wide variety of departments of the Berlin police, e.g. police districts, mobile operations unit, various staff units. 2001-2003: Studied at the Polizei-Führungsakademie (the university for the police service). 2003-2006: Desk officer for personnel matters on the staff of the President of Police, 2006-2007: Press speaker and Head of the Press Office of the Berlin police, 2007-2009: Visiting professor of risk management and traffic theory at the FHVR Berlin, Since 2009: Professor of risk management and traffic sciences / traffic theory at the BSEL
