Biography
Dr. Hajek has worked in the field of Cell and Molecular Infection Biology and has expertise in cell-based assays, signal transduction pathways, gene reporter assays, in vivo imaging techniques, protein fusions, flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy and PCR. She is currently responsible for developing and validating immunogenicity, cell-based and gene expression assays under GLP regulations for support of preclinical and clinical release studies. Janina has a Ph.D. from the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina in Braunschweig. At the Department of Molecular Infection Biology at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research she performed the corresponding scientific work and published in peer reviewed journals. She received her M.Sc. in Microbiology and Genetics and her B.Sc. in Cell Biology.
