Biography
Prof. Dr. Salma Kuhlmann is currently working as Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Konstanz, Germany. She is also an Adjunct Professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics and College of Graduate Studies and Research, University of Saskatchewan.
Research Interest
Algebra, mathematical logic, and analysis. In particular: field theory (ordered fields, valued fields, exponential fields, Hardy Fields) model theoretic algebra ( o-minimal structures, exponential-logarithmic power series, transexponential functions) ordered algebraic structures (lexicographic orderings, ordered vector spaces) models of open induction (primes and irreducibles in exponential integer parts), real algebraic geometry (Positivstellensätze, Moment Problems). Further interest in: ordered permutation groups, lattice ordered groups, automorphism groups of chains, differential fields, models of arithmetic, geometric algebra, geometric model theory.
