Biography
Luna, is Full Professor of Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine, at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is the Director of the Postgraduate Training Program (fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine) and coordinator of Selection and Evaluation of the Postgraduate Specialty Training Program in Pulmonary Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de Buenos Aires and the head of the Pulmonary Diseases Division, Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital de Clínicas, Universidad de Buenos Aires. During the last 25 years Dr. Carlos M. Luna has been dedicated to clinical research in lung infections. He also has been the senior investigator in several projects and had participated as principal investigator in clinical trials about antibiotic therapy in lower respiratory tract infections.
