Biography
His main research interests are organic and integrated fruit production, impact of climate change on olive plant physiology and reproduction, impact of orchard management on natural resources and olive crop viability. Currently implementing research on plant reproduction response to abiotic stresses as well as self-incompatibility mechanisms in olive. Also interested in olive cultivar characterization and discrimination through morphological and molecular markers as well as olive orchard establishment and management. Promote holistic management of the agro-ecosystem towards satisfactory crop yields through optimized inputs and balance between biological components.
