Biography

 I am presently a visiting professor at Sophia University (Tokyo). Most of my carrier was Meteorological Research Institute (Tsukuba, Ibaraki), where I retired in 2009 as director of Geochemical Research Department. I have been working in my scientific fields on natural and anthropogenic radionuclides in the environment, and their application as tracers of atmospheric, terrestrial and marine processes.
