Biography
Thomas Heberer is Senior professor of Chinese Politics & Society at the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of East Asian Studies at the University Duisburg-Essen/Germany. He studied Political Science, Social Anthropology, Philosophy and Chinese Studies in Frankfurt, Goettingen, Mainz and Heidelberg. He received his PhD 1977 from Bremen University.
