Biography
Ted G. Jelenis Professor of Political Science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He received his B.A. from Knox College (Galesburg, IL) in 1974, his MA from Ohio State in 1977, and his PhD from Ohio State in 1979. He is the former editor of the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion and founding coeditor of Politics and Religion. He has published extensively in the areas of religion and politics, public opinion on religion and social issues, and religions-regime relations.

Religion and politics, abortion, church-state relations, public opinion, electoral behavior.
