Biography
Dimensional is a global investment firm with over $400 Billion in Assets Under Management. I am part of the Investment Analytics & Data team, a subset of the Research group within Dimensional, which provides investment data analysis and quality to the firm’s different departments. My role involves: • Analysing characteristics and performance data for Funds and Indices. Computing and validating the monthly characteristics reporting data across the firm’s equity portfolios. • Enhancing global data generation procedures, data reporting processes and data quality checks and controls. I use SQL, Excel and VBA for my day to day tasks. • Building, generating and validating reports for the London Investment Committee, Portfolio Managers and Sales teams. Assisting with the analysis of portfolio, benchmark and overall market performance. • Working with the PMs and the Sales teams on RFPs as well as various ad hoc requests. Examples of RFP analysis that I conduct involve how a prospect’s portfolio is positioned relative to Dimensional’s Core strategies and relative to broad market indices.
