Biography
Prof. Ali A. Dashti is a Professor of Microbiology in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Kuwait University. He received his Ph.D from the University of Edinburgh. He joined Kuwait University as an Assistant Professor in 2003 He then worked his way to an Associate Professor and eventually to a Full Professor in October 2011, due to his hard work and dedicated research. It is noteworthy to mention that he is the youngest Professor in the Health Sciences Centre, Kuwait University and also the first Kuwaiti Full Professor in the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. His present position as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Studies and his title of Professor has not deterred him from continuing with his research
