Biography
Michelle is the President-elect of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) UK Branch and commences her tenure in September 2016. Since 2008 she has been employed as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Earth and Environmental Science (SEES), University of Portsmouth and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Before joining SEES, Michelle worked for Scottish Government at Marine Scotland and as Research Fellow at the School of Civil Engineering and Environment, University of Southampton. She has a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southampton, a 1st Class BEd (Hons) Science in the Environment degree (University of Oxford) and 1st Class BSc (Hons) Environmental Science degree (Manchester Metropolitan University).
