Biography
Theodore Maravelias is an Architect Engineer and for the last 12 years has worked at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, based in the Athens office, as the Director of the Technical Department. He holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a PhD in Architecture from Edinburgh University UK, in which he also served as a lecturer in its School of Architecture. His professional experience, prior to joining the Foundation, includes the design of numerous private and public building projects with special reference to hospital design.
